- Login to your Traction Next account.
2. Go to ‘Account settings’ page.
3. Click on menu ‘Integration – Social Media’ submenu. You will be redirected to following page.
Click on ‘Facebook connect’ button to redirect to Facebook login page. Refer below…
Once logged in, it will ask you to provide the permissions, Refer below screen…
At this point you can edit the permission according to your need/requirement by clicking on ‘Edit This’ link displayed above the ‘continue’ button.
Click on ‘Continue’ button to redirect to another permission popup/screen.
In below screen, Facebook is seeking permission for your post access (e.g. who can see your post), you can edit it by clicking the ‘dropdown’ list shown above. (e.g. access to public).
Click on ‘Ok’ button to continue.
Now Facebook is seeking permission to manage your pages.
For example, if you click ‘Not Now’ button, it will redirect to Traction Next site and asked you to update your permission, since you have not provided the permission.
Now in above screen, click on ‘Update your permission’ link.
Once clicked, Traction Next will be able to fetch all the pages from Facebook and populate the ‘Choose Page’ dropdown box, displayed in the following/below screen.
‘Choose form’ dropdown will populate with the forms created by end user within Traction Next.
Here end user has to choose the page and form values from the above dropdown boxes.
Choose Page: it will display/list down those pages which you have created in Facebook.
Choose form: it will display/list down those forms which you have created in Traction Next.
All the above fields are mandatory.
Tab name: This textbox allows you to create a tab into Facebook page.
Tab name field is not mandatory but If end user doesn’t provide the tab name then it will be fetched from application’s default. Default tab name will be displayed for end user (Need to display). For example, ‘Sign up form’. if end user provides any name for tab then that will override the default tab name and will appear in Facebook.
Click on ‘Save’ button will display the success message as ‘Your new tab has been created and content has been posted successfully.’
Click on Facebook disconnect button to disconnect from App and revoke all the permission from your Facebook account.
4. Now the end user can login to their Facebook account, go to the respective page and can see that the tab has been created. Refer the red circle in below screen.
5. Now tab has been created. if End user want to post the content from TractionNext and view it on their facebook profile, following steps need to follow...
Login to TractionNext and create a form.
Then create a campaign and go to Integration menu. In this page, there is a section 'Social Media'. Refer below image...
Now turn the switch 'Auto-post to Facebook after sending' ON.
If you are already logged in, then it will display the Text box to add your content. (if you haven't logged in then it will display 'Connect to Facebook' button. Click on it will redirect to Facebook login page. Login with your credentials and it will redirect you to campaign page and you need to come to integration menu page by clicking respected campaign 'edit' button.)
When you reaches "Integration" page, You can enter your post's text content in the below text box.
After adding the post's text content, Tick the profile check box. e.g. "Demo (Profile)".
Choose Page: Select the page where you want to post your content. if you don't want to post in page then you can leave this option. In this case your content will be posted in Timeline.
Customize social card: Use Social Cards to choose a featured image and text to display when your email marketing campaign is shared on Facebook. You can also preview how the cards will look on Facebook. You need to switch "Customize social card" ON. A new menu/page will be created with the same name and will look like this...
- Input a title for the card in the Title field.
- Input a description in the short description text box about the image field to encourage people to view your campaign.
- Select any image from your campaign. When you click any image, you can see their preview in right side window.
Now click 'Save and Continue' button to proceed further.
At last, launch the campaign. You will receive an email.
Now go to your Facebook timeline to view your post...
if you have posted your content in a page then visit your page. You will find your post there. It will be displayed under visitor posts. Refer below...
