1. Login to your TractionNext account.
2. Go to ‘Contact – Lead Scoring’ sub-menu. Click and it will display three options.
3. Click on the first option ‘Fields’ and then click the button ‘Create LS Field’.
It will display the page to create your Lead Score Field.
Enter the value for Name, Minimum Value, Maximum Value, Initial Value. Set the Status to Active or Inactive.
Click Save button at bottom right of the screen to save the details.
Now in the second tab Thresholds:
Click on the Add Threshold button and a row will appear. Fill the values for Name, Description, Value From and Value To field respectively. When completed click on the Save button at the bottom right of the screen to save the details.
4. Next click on Action Rules and then click the button Create LS Action rules to display the following:
Enter the value for Name and select the values for drop-down boxes for Lead Score Fields, Action, Segment, Score and Expire In. Then select the status as Active and click on the Save button to save the action rule details.
5. Click on Contact Score option to see the lead score. See the below screen…

If you click on Score, it will display the breakup of score earned by each contact. These scores have been determined by your lead scoring rules where points are assigned to various user actions. eg: when a contact opens your email campaign or clicks the link, they will score the defined points for them.
You can see how Score Breakdown is shown below. Note the Current Score is 75:
However, if the contact opens an email defined as 40 points, the score would change to 115. See the screen below:
In lead score list page, there is an option to Add/Subtract the scores manually. Click on the Add/Subtract Score button displayed next to the Email column. It will display the following:
Click the dropdown field Manual Action Rule to reveal two entries to manually modify the score rules.
Applied the rule with +5, it updated the score to 14. See below:
