This document describes receipt scanning feature in TractionNext. It covers the integration details and details on how to use new features that have been added in Traction Next.
Feature & its use
This feature can be used for capturing the data of a paper receipt/docket and used for further processing as per the need. For example: Scan receipt for a purchase you made at the store which can be then used as a proof of purchase.
How to use it?
Login to TractionNext and go to ‘Forms’. Click ‘Create Form’ then fill the details for ‘Details’ tab. Move to Next tab i.e. ‘Content and Design’.
and click on ‘Drag and Drop Form Builder’. It will popup below…
Select the template from top left dropdown. Any custom template can also be selected.
Insert any contact field from below dropdown list. Select ‘Receipt Upload’ from Advanced fields. This field is added to upload the recepit image to the server.
Set the ‘Field properties’ from right pane.
Now click ‘Save and close’ button.
Now user can see the preview of this form in ‘Content and Design’ tab. Refer below screen…
Now this form can be added in campaign and then launch the campaign.
Target users will be getting the Form URL when they receive the campaign. Clicking on it will display something like this.
They need to enter the values in Email and upload a receipt File (only jpg/jpeg, png, gif are allowed). File should have an image which contains image as well as Text which can be scanned and validated and this information will be stored in the server.
Click on ‘Submit’ button on the form to get the success message.
Now move to ‘Report’ tab.
Report details can be seen in above image. Click on ‘View File’ Link to see the uploaded image details. Refer below image…
Note: Images text is a chargeable service. Clients can get in touch with Account managers for the rates to enable this service.
Now move to ‘Report’ tab.
In the "Report" menu, details of all the uploaded receipt files are available and can be exported to CSV/PDF. Refer below image...
Clicking on 'Export' icon will download the desired file to view the details.
