Campaign Layout:
- Click on Email Campaigns Tab.
- User will be landed on the TDX Campaign list page in Salesforce.
- User can select the ‘View’ of its preference and view the campaigns.
- To create new campaign in salesforce, Salesforce user needs to click ‘New’ button. Clicking ‘New’ will open a 6 tabular campaign creation layout.

- Campaign creation process in SFDC is similar to TDX.
Campaign Validation in Salesforce:
- Details Tab:
- The Required fields are shown with symbol:
Once the campaign is pushed to TDX successfully, the Name and Description field won’t be editable for Salesforce user.
- Content and Design:
- HTML and Text Content, both are required in salesforce.
- Default values are populated in both these fields.
- User need to modify the value in both these fields based on their requirement.
- Analytics:
- Only Google Analytics is supported in salesforce campaigns.
- By default, this is unchecked.
- Contacts:
- A list of available Contact lists from TDX is displayed in a list box.
- User can select any of the available contact lists to target.
- User is provided with a button ‘Refresh List’ clicking which the latest contact list from TDX are fetched and shown in the available contact lists.
- Salesforce user will be able to target the campaigns only to the contact lists available in TDX.
- Testing:
- Salesforce user can provide the valid email addresses of contacts from this network.
- A maximum of 100 email addresses (comma separated) can be provided by salesforce user to send test emails.
- Confirm Delivery:
- This tab provides the read-only summary of the entire campaign along with capability for user to Launch campaign with option Now or Later.
- Refresh Contacts: User need to click on ‘Refresh Contacts’ button to get the ‘Contact Summary’ for the campaign.
- Before launching the campaign, salesforce user needs to click this button to get valid count of contacts to which the campaign will be sent.
- Launch Campaign:
- Salesforce user can launch Campaign with 2 option:
- Now: Campaign will be launched right away in TDX
- Schedule Later: Campaign will be scheduled to launch at a later date/time.
- Salesforce user can launch Campaign with 2 option:
Click on “Email Campaign” menu. Refer below image. Click on “New” button.
It will redirect to below screen. Fill in all the required details and click on “Save and Continue”.
In “Content and Design” tab, Add the required HTML content and click on “Save and continue” button. You can preview your email by clicking on “Preview email” button.
In analytics tab, You can google analytics details, if you have. Click on “Save and Continue” button.
In contact tab, You can see available contacts and selected contacts, you can select your desired contact list and click on > button to move to selected contact list area. Click on “save and continue”.
If your list is not displaying, Click on “Refresh List” button to fetch it.
In testing tab, enter the email addresses (comma separated) to send the test mail for this campaign and click on “Send test Email” button.
Now click on “Confirm Delivery” Tab. Here you can launch the campaign immediately Or you can schedule it later. For scheduling, select the option “Later” and Enter the time and date.
If your contacts are not displaying, Click on “Refresh Contacts” button displayed at the bottom of the page.
Finally, Click on “Launch Campaign” button to launch the campaign.
