This document describes the feature ‘Capability to have multiple subdomain within an account’ in TractionNext. It covers details/ steps that how to add multiple subdomain and to use this feature that have been added in Traction Next platform.
This will provide the option for clients to configure multiple mail servers and sub-domains within an account.
- Customer can use one sub domain for campaign & another sub domain for automation emails to improve the deliverability.
- Can use different sub domains for different brands or category of promotions.
- Can use different mail servers with in an account based on their reputation score to avoid SPAM filter.
Multiple subdomain configuration (within an account)
TractionNext support team (email@example.com) will configure this for customer. Customer has to provide the following details in order to setup the multiple subdomain in their account…
- Subdomain name
- Mail server detail
- Name; can be any friendly name – decided by customer (Combination of Subdomain name and Mail server) This will appear while drafting any campaign, automation email, Form, Landing page, Domain monitoring, Abandoned cart etc…

- Email campaign
- Landing pages
- Automation emails
- Abandoned cart
- Domain monitoring
How to use configured subdomains for campaign, automation email etc…
Draft a campaign in your account. While drafting, you can select the name, refer below image…
Here you can see the configured subdomain within your account. You can select either of them to launch the campaign.
You can also view your subdomain in ‘Confirm Delivery’ tab for Domain monitoring section. Refer the below screen…
Click on the ‘Test domain’ button, you will see the following popup…
Same way, while creating Automation email, you can able to select configured subdomains for your account, Refer below image…
