Introduction
This document describes the feature ‘Capability to have multiple subdomains within an account’ in TractionNext. It covers details/ steps that how to add multiple subdomains and to use this feature that has been added in the TractionNext platform.
Feature explanation
This will provide the option for clients to configure multiple mail servers and sub-domains within an account.
Feature uses:
- Customers can use one subdomain for campaign & another subdomain for automation emails to improve the deliverability.
- It can use different subdomains for different brands or categories of promotions.
- Can use different mail servers within an account based on their reputation score to avoid the SPAM filter.
Multiple subdomain configuration (within an account)
TractionNext support team (support@tractionnext.com) will configure this for the customer. The customer has to provide the following details in order to setup the multiple subdomains in their account…
- Subdomain name
- Mail server detail
- Name; can be any friendly name – decided by customer (Combination of Subdomain name and Mail server) This will appear while drafting any campaign, automation email, Form, Landing page, Domain monitoring, Abandoned cart, etc…

How to use configured subdomains for a campaign, automation email, etc…
Draft a campaign in your account. While drafting, you can select the name, refer below image…
Here you can see the configured subdomain within your account. You can select either of them to launch the campaign.
You can also view your subdomain in the ‘Confirm Delivery’ tab for the Domain monitoring section. Refer to the below screen…
Click on the ‘Check’ button, you will see the following popup…
Same way, while creating Automation email, you can select configured subdomains for your account, Refer below image…
