To setup GDPR compliance tools, first step is to enable it.
To use GDPR fields on your signup forms, it should be enabled from the Account settings page with the user account, which has Admin permissions by following the steps given below:
- Navigate to the ‘Account Settings’ page. Click on ‘Edit’ button.
- Tick the check box ‘GDPR Compliance Tools Enabled’.
- Enter the ‘GDPR Controller Message’ in the text box.

Once enabled, it will show in the Drag & Drop editor as additional options below Advanced Fields. These new GDPR fields will be displayed as below:
These fields should be inserted in the forms while in form design and can be sent using campaigns to collect user consent.
The content for “Controller Notice” should be defaulted to the content from the “GDPRControllerMessage” in the Account Settings. This is also editable in the Field Properties section on the right hand menu.
The content for “Processor Notice” is the notice that TractionNext is will be holding the data, and this text should not be editable in the form builder. This control should add the following text into the form:
