Preference Center
An email preference center is a tool that helps to establish a healthy communication to and fro with the subscribers. It provides an easy way for the subscribers to manage their email by giving them a centralized portal to control what they receive and how often they receive the messages
Preference Centers have never been so simpler but with the advent of the new Form Builder, a preference center can be built in a fraction of time. Simply drag and drop fields into the form and select the desired form template. Everything will work accordingly.
Let’s see how a preference center can be set up in TractionNext
- Login to TractionNext with valid user credentials
- Navigate to forms from top menu followed by selecting forms In the left pane
- Click create form button on top left corner
- Provide the form name, description and other required details and save it
- Then click content & design tab followed by selecting drag&drop form builder
- Now consider the section, "Insert contact fields and List" under Tools. Select the List (subscriber/contact list) from the drop down which needs to be a part of the preference center. Automatically, when the list is selected, it will be added to the form
- The contact fields, text and other elements should be added which again needs to be a part of the preference center setup form
- Once all the required field setup is done, the template that has to be applied for this form should be chosen from the template drop-down (Form template is a styling template which when applied for any form will change the style/theme of the form)
- Save the form and preview it. When the form is saved, an URL is generated which when accessed will show the particular form
- The form URL can be embedded in any website or can be used in any email campaign
- When the user selects the particular list and submits the same, the particular customer will be added to the list (contacts/subscriber)
